Calvin George Easton

Calvin George Easton died Thursday, June 23, 1994 in Saginaw, Michigan, from complications with emphysema. He was born April 24, 1931, in Birmingham, Michigan, to Harry and Adeline (Krezuer)Easton. He grew up in Cass City, Michigan and attended country school. He married Helen Delores Dalton on August 27, 1955 in Cass City, and the couple lived there since. Calvin was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cass City. He was an electrician, employed by Deering Electric, and Mauer Electric for 30 years. Calvin served in the Army and was stationed in Germany and was a member of the VFW Post 3644 in Cass City. Survivors include his wife Helen of Cass City, a daughter Lisa of Bad Axe, grandchildren, Shannon and T.J. Thorp of Gagetown, brothers, Arthur of Arkansas,Harold of Prudenville and Richard of Cass City, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Adeline and an infant sister Lucille. Services were at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cass City, with the Rev. Allen Fruendt, officiating. Burial with military honors was in Novesta Township Cemetery.
